Hearts for the Hungry and the Homeless

Located in the Verde Valley of Arizona. A fantastic organization that needed their original static HTML website transferred and updated to a friendly CMS – WordPress website.

Design Vitamin created, transferred, and donated a new HTML5, CSS3, device responsive WordPress website. The base theme used was open-source, the theme was altered by us to relate to the organization “brand” or “look”. Additional pages and fund raising optimizations were created to promote their cause and increase their page rankings. We also started their Facebook page to establish them in the social media world.

We love Cornville Mission! Please do what you can to support the Hearts for the Hungry and the Homeless charity.

A great investment for advertising a growing business.

An established business needed us to research and create the design for the advertisement on a durable illuminated car-top sign.

Design Vitamin researched and found the best style and size car-top for their business’ vehicles. We created a vector car-top design for a “Mini Quad” style of sign, while maintaining the clients original color palette. With our network of sign manufactures we were able to deliver our client a perfect low price.

Restaurant Logo and Branding Revision

Logo and Branding Revision

Located in Sedona Arizona. An established business that needed to create t-shirts for their staff and put some up for sale. Their current design was lacking in appeal, so we suggested that their logo be revised for this project.

A vector logo was created with a new design, maintaining their original color palette. They have a New York style restaurant, so the dog was given a bit of a tough look.

Along with this project we create an illuminated car-top design. We will have images to show of that project very soon!

New Logo – Corporate Branding

Located in Cottonwood Arizona. The Verde Food Council needed a new logo created for organization. The old one was very difficult to use as a photograph.

The logo was created as a vector image and needed to be minimal in its design, so it could be used in multiple conditions. There are two versions, one without a background and another with. The one with the background was intended for larger print production, the other design for smaller prints.

The photo logo is still used on their website, however the new design is being used for their Hunger Action Team.

New Website Design and Development

Located in Sedona Arizona. A new business and they needed a website for the public. The restaurant theme is primary chalkboard, they wanted something with a ‘fun’ feel to the main navigation, and a ‘New York Deli’ style.

This static website is HTML5, CSS3, and to be device responsive. Project completed May 2012.

New Branding and Website

Heartline Café needed a new logo for their new catering business, plus an update to their website to improve the SEO and page ranking.

For the logo they said the “wanted a chief juggling”, they also wanted the colors to be purple and blue. Along with the logo design there was a concept created for their new signage. In 2005 the sign received an award from the Keep Sedona Beautiful program. The sign had minimal illumination at night (important in Sedona), see the image below.

Their old website was lacking in many areas, so a new website was created for them. This website was very interactive, with two slide-shows, yet small mostly due to internet and monitor limitation at the time. There new website had a much improved SEO program which established them on the internet and helped to increase their sales.

Their website was maintained by us for 5 years, plus training and consultation were provided. Design Vitamin was asked to continue to help them with their WordPress transition, however Design Vitamin was currently committed to other projects and turned them down. Project completed December 2009.

Crop Circle Vineyards – Logos & Branding 2007

New Branding for Vineyard

Located in Page Spring and Wilcox Arizona. Crop Circle Vineyards was a new vineyard (co-creator Echo Canyon Vineyards) and we were commissioned to produce wine labels and company branding.

They were asked if they had anything already in mind, they didn’t. When asked to describe their vineyard, they stated that it looked like “Area 51″. Hence the Bacchus Alien design. The logo four-star pattern is actually one of the patterns that their vineyard is planted with.

Four wine labels and three versions of the logo were created using mostly Photoshop. The concept art is also shown below. They also wanted a logo design for printing on wine glasses and corkscrews, (the grey background for viewing on a white page). That vector image was created in Illustrator. A billboard mock was created, but not produced. – Project completed October 2007.
